Author Biography

Roger Banks-Pye was interior design director for Colefax and Fowler, the legendary English interior decoration, fabric and wallpaper company founded in 1934 by Sibyl Colefax and John Fowler. Born in Sheffield in 1948, he studied interior design in London and later established his own firm, Banks-Pye Design. His connection with Colefax and Fowler began in 1977, when he embarked on a career with the company that spanned 20 years. Roger Banks-Pye died in 1996.
