    Author Biography

    Lisa Kingsley has over thirty years' experience as a food writer, editor, and recipe developer. Her work has appeared in magazines such as Fine Cooking and Better Homes & Gardens. She collaborated with the Smithsonian Institution on American Table: The Foods, People, and Innovations That Feed Us (Harvest, 2023). She is the coauthor of Cooking with Magic: A Century of Recipes Inspired by Disney's Animated Films from Steamboat Willie to Wish (Insight Editions, 2023) and The Powerpuff Girls: The Official Cookbook (Insight Editions, 2024). She has fond memories of playing PAC-MAN and eating awesome snacks with her friends in the 1980s at the arcade in Mason City, Iowa.

    S.T. Bende is a young-adult and children's author, known for the Norse mythology series Viking Academy and the Ære Saga. She's also written books for Disney, Lucasfilm, Pixar, The Jim Henson Company, and Marvel. She lives on the West Coast, where she spends far too much time at Disneyland, and she dreams of skiing on Jotunheim and Hoth. www.stbende.com
