Since then, he's covered thousands of NASCAR, IndyCar, Formula One, NHRA, and SCCA races for the Tribune Company (1969-2004) and \u003ci\u003eAutoweek \u003c\/i\u003e(1973-current). Pearce has authored thirteen books on racing, including \u003ci\u003eUnseen Earnhardt: The Man Behind the Mask \u003c\/i\u003eand \u003ci\u003eHolman-Moody: The Legendary Race Team\u003c\/i\u003e (with Tom Cotter).
