    Author Biography

    EMILY RATH is an internationally bestselling author whose chart-topping, queer-inclusive fantasy and romance novels include the Jacksonville Rays and the Tuonella Duet. A former university professor, she holds PhDs in Political Science and Peace Studies from the University of Notre Dame. Emily is a third-generation Finnish American whose grandmother gave her a copy of the Kalevala and told stories about their family in Finland while baking pulla bread. She was born in Florida, raised in Kentucky, and now lives with her husband, son, and cat in Jacksonville, Florida.
