    Retired Game Warden Wayne Fitzwater served in the Montana Fish & Game Department for over 25 years, covering many of the warden districts in the southwestern part of the state. He began his tenure with the department in the 1950s, and witnessed several changes to the warden's role and responsibilities over the span of his career. In 1971, he was named Montana's Wildlife Officer of the Year. The stories he shares in Where in the Hell Did You Come From? tell of the many ups and downs of being a game warden in the rugged wilds of the American West.     Retired Montana Game Warden Wayne Fitzwater worked for the Fish & Game Department for 28 years, primarily serving in the southwestern districts. He retired in 1978, and still lives in Dillon, MT.
